SEO Executive
43 Clicks North are looking for an SEO Executive to join our SEO team. We are looking for someone who has a decent understanding of SEO, and is comfortable and confident supporting our SEO team in the delivery of high performance campaigns. This is an entry level position, so full training will be provided, however previous working knowledge and experience of SEO is an advantage.

Job Description
As a key part of the SEO team you’ll be immersed in the world of organic search, content, links, and much more! We’re looking for someone with the ability to think outside of the box and grow within the team structure we have
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our SEO team in the management of our client campaigns. You will have an understanding of the underlying principles of Search Engine Optimisation and will be looking to build your knowledge and experience to improve your abilities in SEO.
Working within our already established SEO team, you will support the agency's SEO clients by carrying out a variety of tasks to help drive improvements in performance. Exposure to other areas of digital marketing is also something that you will benefit from, as you work across a range of clients in the agency. Reporting to our Head of SEO, you will be given full training and exposure to industry leading tools to expand and improve your knowledge and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Working directly with clients and colleagues in planning and implementing SEO campaigns and digital marketing strategies;
- Client management including regular and comprehensive reporting, phone calls and video conferencing;
- Attending client meetings;
- Learning about the latest techniques and accepted understanding of current best practice methods;
- Market and keyword research to identify opportunities;
- Carry out technical audits and analysis on clients websites, and producing actions plans on how to address issues found
- Creating on page content briefs based on keyword research, client need and competitor performance
- Producing back link analysis and devising plans to improve the backlink profile for clients
- Managing and running link acquisition campaigns for our clients
- Manage a portfolio of clients, and work within a team to help manage existing clients
Knowledge and Experience
- Good and improving knowledge of SEO
- Understanding of technical SEO considerations
- Understanding of offsite SEO considerations
- Abilities and knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Good knowledge and abilities in Excel / Google Sheet
- Understanding of web development
- Experience using SEMRush, Screaming Frog, AHRefs and other SEO tools an advantage
- Understanding of content optimisation considerations
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritise and manage time across multiple projects
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
- Good attention to detail;
- Must be a UK resident or work permit holder
Qualifications and Skills
- A mathematical approach to analysing data; comfortable using formulas, pivot tables and VLookup functions to aid analysis
- A keen interest in multi channel advertising across digital and traditional platforms
- Ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
- Proactive with initiative to work autonomously
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Excellent time management
- Comfortable working with the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
The Package
- Salary - from £22,000 depending on experience
- 30 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays per year
- Flexible working - 2 days in the office, 3 days at home
