Paid Social Case Study
Flexa is a business disrupting the recruitment industry and flipping the hiring process on its head. They enable businesses to showcase what their working environment has to offer, allowing them to be discovered by candidates who want to know how a business operates before applying for a role.
With the boom in demand for flexible working, Flexa developed a two-stage benchmarking process to allow employers to see if they were as flexible as they thought they were. Truly flexible businesses could then leverage the Flexa accreditation to attract top talent, reduce the cost to hire, boost their employer brand and improve diversity, equality and inclusion.
Flexa needed to show they had a solution to the recruitment challenges faced by businesses as employees became empowered to find job roles that fitted better with their desired lifestyle.
With most businesses not aware that a solution existed and a need to get users to take the online flexibility quiz to generate a high intent lead, the creative used on both ads and the landing page was key.
We needed video and static creatives that highlighted the requirement for change in how we work and played to the ego of employers who think they have the best workplace around. If they thought as much, they’d be willing to put it to the test.
Once we had the attention of employers, we used FOMO to highlight that they would be missing out on the best talent and increasing their recruitment time & costs if they weren’t Flexified.
While paid social provided a steady stream of visitors, the traffic didn’t always translate into submissions of a high intent action. We conducted user research to understand how users engaged with the quiz. It was clear that users weren’t ready to take the quiz,with most users using the main navigation bar to look for more information about the Flexification qualification.
We redesigned the landing page to introduce a new step before the quiz. This focused on providing education on the benefits of flexible working for employers and who Flexa were, to ultimately encourage them to take the quiz.
