This left Discount Supplements reliant on repeat purchases from their existing customer base. With new competitors entering the market providing consumers with more choices, they were a brand in decline.
The key to success was to transition the brand away from relying on sales promotions and towards driving a higher return on ad spend through more profitable products.
By analysing past product and sales data, we identified the product areas that drove the most profit and had high conversion rates & average order values. We then researched how users were interacting with and bought these products.
Putting in a Search and Shopping strategy that targeted these first and foremost allowed us to have an immediate impact on improving ROAS. This created a profitable foundation before expanding through a multi-channel approach to cover wider product areas.
